Privacy Statement

As the national trade association for private home, car and business insurers in Canada and the appointed statistical agent for the insurance regulators in most of the provinces and territories, IBC has accumulated a great deal of data, some of which can be considered to be personal information.

The protection of individual privacy is an IBC priority and applies to both:

1. Information that IBC collects directly from individuals; and
2. Information under IBC's custody that is reported to IBC by various insurance entities – insurers, brokers and others.
